Today, I just watched this movie. Mr. Nobody. If you already watched 'The Butterfly's Effect', then in my opinion this science fiction movies, directed by Jaco Van Dormael gave you the more taste of the butterfly's effect. The movie starred by Jared Leto, Diane Kruger and Sarah Polley.
Jared Leto as the main actor has once again showed his talent in acting. The story took year in 2092. In that year, a time when Mars is a vacation spot, Nemo Nobody is a 118-year-old man who is the last mortal among humans who have become immortal due to scientific advances involving the perpetual rejuvenation of telomeres. When Nemo is on his deathbed, he reviews the three possible existences and marriages he might have experienced, with Anna (Diane Kruger), the daughter of his mother's lover; the latter is upset after Nemo has sex with the man's daughter, Nemo's "sister"); Elise (Sarah Polly) with mood swings) and Jean (Linh Danh Pham), with up to three children. References to the big bang theory, the nature of time, super-string theory, memory, help structure the plot.
This movie also spoils you with the great visual effects, which were produced by Modus FX, Fly Studio and Rodeo FX in Montreal and Digital Graphics in Belgium. Mr. Nobody was first presented at the 66th Venice International Film Festival and the Osella for Best Production Designer went to Sylvie Olivé. In September, Mr. Nobody was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and was received positively.
